The town of Lincoln was incorporated in 1764 and named for Henry Clinton, the 9th Earl of Lincoln. Villages in Lincoln include North Lincoln and Stillwater. Lincoln is the second largest town in land area, only Pittsburg is larger. Lincoln is home to the popular summer attraction Whales Tail Water Park as well as Clark’s Trading Post and a scenic railroad.
